Aegis is built to do one thing: protect your focus. It does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

What Aegis collects

Nothing. Aegis does not have an account system, does not require a login, and does not collect any personal information.

Screen Time

Aegis uses Apple's Screen Time framework (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity) to block apps during a focus session. All Screen Time data is managed entirely on your device by iOS. Aegis never reads, stores, or transmits your Screen Time data.

NFC

If you use an NFC tag to start and end sessions, the tag interaction happens entirely on your device. No tag data is read beyond the trigger signal, and nothing is stored or transmitted.

Session data

Aegis does not record session history. When a session ends, it ends. No data about your sessions is stored on-device or sent anywhere.

Analytics and third parties

Aegis contains no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no advertising. No data is shared with any third party.
